His interiors are noted for combining the best of the past with a fresh eye toward color and materials. The body of his work demonstrates a deft ability to bring together different styles and objects in a way that reflects the client’s individual aesthetic and lifestyle. Providing a comprehensive array of design services, Luis is involved from concept to installation, including consultation on design and construction with the client, architect, contractors and artisans.

Luis credits his love of Art and Architecture as the foundation for his design philosophy. Through his studies and travel abroad, he has developed an appreciation of international design that informs his work today.

With over twenty years of experience, Luis has long established relationships with suppliers and artisans in the design community which enable him to bring extensive knowledge and resources to his clients. Prior to establishing his namesake firm in 1997, he was a Senior Designer at Bloomingdale's New York where he often ranked at the top for client retention and referrals among his peers companywide. His spectacular rooms in several prestigious designer showhouses were recently featured in the book "Showhouses 2, A Decorators' Tour."
